1 Tim 2:18 I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling Lord we are approaching day 14 in our hospital stay, my daughters fever is still present, her bone marrow is still suppressed, and we are unsure when these issues will change or resolve. At times we become stressed, worried, anxious, concerned, and impatient giving way to the demands of the flesh which can lead to anger and quarreling for being dissatisfied in the moment. However, when I find myself doing just these things I try to remember to stay close to you and your word. Pray at all times, about all things, allowing your Holy Spirit to guide me. Claires cultures are still negative, but her fever has not resolved. It was managed on Tylenol today, but the doctors have stopped giving it to her seeing if it will spike again, at which time we will take more blood cultures continuing to look for an infection. My daughter has not been herself today. Extremely unsettled, agitated, and fussy to a point that the doctors gave her medication to settle her. This is not her typical behavior; therefore, I know she does not feel well but I am unsure exactly what is bothering her. Jordan, Claire, and I are ready to be delivered home. We miss our bed, our food, our privacy, our freedom. We ask the Lord to heal Claire and provide us an opportunity to return home safely. Keep us all in your prayers. This has been a tough admission and we are unsure of the end. God knows the end, may he grant us strength, patience, and comfort to get us there.
