God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Psalms Chapter 46 مزامیر باب ۴۶ کمک خدا در تنگیها ۱ خدا ملجا و قوّت ماست، و مددكاری كه در تنگیها فوراً یافت می‌شود. ۲ پس نخواهیم ترسید، اگر چه جهان مبدل گردد و كوهها در قعر دریا به لرزش آید. ۳ اگر چه آبهایش آشوب كنند و به جوش آیند و كوهها از سركشی آن متزلزل گردند، سِلاه. ۴ نهری است كه شعبه‌هایش شهر خدا را فرحناك می‌سازد و مسكن قدوس حضرت اعلی را. ۵ خدا در وسط اوست پس جنبش نخواهد خورد. خدا او را اعانت خواهد كرد در طلوع صبح. ۶ امّت‌ها نعره زدند و مملكتها متحرك‌گردیدند. او آواز خود را داد. پس جهان گداخته گردید. ۷ یهُوَه صبایوت با ماست، و خدای یعقوب قلعة بلند ما، سِلاه. ۸ بیایید كارهای خداوند را نظاره كنید، كه چه خرابیها در جهان پیدا نمود. ۹ او جنگها را تا اقصای جهان تسكین می‌دهد؛ كمان را می‌شكند و نیـزه را قطع می‌كند و ارابه‌ها را به آتش می‌سوزاند. ۱۰ بازایستید و بدانید كه من خدا هستم؛ در میان امّت‌ها، متعال و در جهان، متعال خواهم شد. ۱۱ یهوه صبایوت با ماست و خدای یعقوب قلعة بلند ما، سِلاه.
