1. Weeks ago I knew the officer would not be indicted. For the officer to be Indicted it would be an admittance that there is a problem within the organization. It would admit that there is incompetence. It would admit that there are professionals unable to make decisions not based on their biases/personal prejudices. Because that would call for change in staff and policies. For the sake of the system they could not set themselves up for that type of blow back. 2. They took time in presenting only the evidence that would lead to the current verdict. they dismissed the inconsistent eye witnesses that didnt favor an opposing verdict. Of course u set up your evidence in a way to lead the jury. How to get away with murder showed us that. 3. Police chief says they didnt expect a riot. I live in VA and I knew there would b a riot. 4. Why they burn their community? I hear your arguments. I hear your rationale. But, lets remember the police knew there would b rioting. They protected the areas that they cared about. They pushed the crowd away from their area of interest into an area that they had less concern for. If people cant destroy what they are opposing then yes its common sense that will release that frustration where they can. Some people are looting. Not all. Just like All cops arent shooting people 5. Police chief reports... 12 burning buildings. ...about 150 shots (so u counted gun shots? After 20 shots I would think its considered very hostile and time for action). Burning police vehicles. Police being hit/wounded with rocks and projectiles. Gun shots fired at police. THESE are undeniable threats...YET police never fired a weapon at the protestors/riotors. Hmmm. 6. President Obama called for peaceful protest. Thats good. But, the people that needed to hear that were nowhere near a television. 7. The police chief and his 1 black officer friend need to sit down. Where are the community leaders? The Community leaders are right there wearing riot gear and mounting tanks. 8. Its true...Mike Brown executed some poor choices that day. Its true...Darren Wilson made some poor choices that day. Mike Brown paid with his life. Darren Wilson got paid. 9. The critics saying what action the community should take are not in the community. 10. If it happened to a person in My family/Circle/Community, I would be in the streets as well. Hopefully making the best decisions...but, at least thats what I think as I sit in the comfort of my home.
