1. YES, this is screwed up. 2. He is an blind to his actions just like all the others that get involved with homeowners associations. HE wanted a place where there are dictators are telling others how their place should look, and now when it affects him negatively, he whines about it. These people made their bed. Do not be confused about my position here, it is CRAZY for sure, but these dictators wouldnt have power if people wouldnt agree to give it to them. Dont want someone dictating what you do with your home, dont buy into a place that is governed by dictators. The bigger problem here is not as much the dictators, as it is those who invite them to take control. You cant move into a place happy that the HOA is going to tell others to keep their homes pretty, then complain when they tell you you cant do what you want with yours. Typical sheeple mindset.
