1 and a half years of major clumsiness, feeling of brain moving in skull when I turn my head, depth perception issues and floor movement, light zaps in vision, a fast and severe deterioration of my vision, acute narrow angle glaucoma, racing thoughts, intrusive thoughts, hypomania, suicidal thoughts, depersonalization, agoraphobia, anti-social behavior, exhaustion and the last few months, severe depression on and off. My meds have been killing me slowly for 7 years. Wednesday I go into detox and hope for the best. Upping the dose isnt the answer. Straight up withdrawal from one of the most painful destructive medications on the planet is all I can do. 6 months or more of hell coming with probable long lasting effects and protracted withdrawal symptoms for probably a year or more. Klonopin is the devil. Dont ever forget that. Its put me in the psych ward and made me all but house-bound. Recent events regarding Robin Williams has strengthened my resolve but no idea whats in store. Im buckled in for the worst and hoping for the best. The band will NOT be affected and we will continue as planned but I must get better.
