1 hour painting - which is what all paintings become when started an hour before dark! It started with an impulsive moment - I was taken back by the simple beauty of our backyard with the dark stained fence setting off the vibrant sunflowers. Ruby watched on patiently and while I was distracted with painting, she snatched and mulched a tomato plant that was growing in the compost. Gardening, a good dog, and painting, the simple life is good.
