1 week ago, we started the home repairs & I was soooo excited! We talked about re-doing the walls, insulating them better & laying a new carpet! Oh, the constant talks of We could do this, or we could do that, but we should do this 1st, then we can do that My head was swimming with the possibilities! Last Monday, our 9 yr old chunk TV went Ca-put! There goes doing the walls & carpet this yr....lol (Theres that 2 steps forward 3 steps back thing) We rolled with it & Friday night Phil & I made a dash for WalMart for a new TV & a new stand. We ended up with a 39 in flat screen smart TV & a BEAUTIFUL simple stand that mounts the TV! Last night is so wonderful to sit & watch the new TV & NOT feel a gail blowing through the living room....that new door is something wonderful! Windows will still go in soon & oh how warm that is gonna be! We will remain patient on the walls & carpet....just got to deal with it a bit longer! I LOVE THE NEW CHANGES!
