1 week to go then I finally get to have my honeymoon with my wonderful wife Rebecca Thorneycroft. Sun, sea, sand and sensational surroundings and experiences to enjoy. On arrival in Bangkok we are expecting to get very wet as it is the start of Songkran 2014 – Thai New Year 2014 (Also known as the Thailand Water Fight Festival) We get to spend an entire day with a herd of elephants in their natural environment on the “Pamper A Pachyderm Trip” at the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, and also a day at the Tiger Kingdom in Chiang Mai where we will get up close and personal with Tigers from as young as 2 months all the way up to 3 years. The second week will be all about the stunning beaches and clear waters in Phuket where we intend to make use of the local facilities, trips and time together away from the everyday stress of normal working life.
