1 year ago today my life has changed for the better. I had RNY Gastric Bypass Surgery August 19 2013 @ 8 am. I had numerous health problems,I wouldnt be able to have children safely and I would have most likely died very young. This road for me has been long and bumpy at times but I wouldnt change a thing :) I started my journey @ 375 lbs. I couldnt walk very far,couldnt get on a horse very well nor go riding if the stable didnt have a big horse,couldnt run and play with my nieces,nor could I do alot of other things. I am now down to 214 lbs which is a total loss of 161 lbs :) I couldnt have done this without the support from my family. My mother started this journey with me before she died in 2005 I have been trying to get surgery ever since I was 15. I know shes looking down on me from heaven and shes VERY proud :) I do believe that she was in that OR with me guiding the surgeon and his team. I also couldnt have done this without the support of my wonderful husband :) We did it babe :) Also you got a new wife out of the deal,a free upgrade lol I would like to thank the medical staff at the Ottawa Civic Hospital and Dr. Yelle and his surgical team you made my dreams come true :) Finally I wanna thank all of YOU I couldnt get through this without all my friends support and love. Thank You I can now start my journey into my new life and hopefully have a baby within the next year which is what Chris and I both truely desire :) Thanks and love you all. Will post pics later
