10,000 squatters in Sangre Grande...so they say... Since May 2010 illegal immigration has quadrupled according to statistics and its anyones guess where 99% of them came from given the fact that our borders had been left vulnerable since that time by the head of the national security council. It is alleged that many came from Guyana, got birth certificates through the Ministry of UNC people, ID Cards, food cards, housing grants and recognized as being farmers...all for votes in the next general election. They heard that land was being given away in Trinidad by the UNC...I can imagine if a tally were to be taken throughout the country especially in central and south the numbers would be even much more... The thing is this....while the UNC have fired persons in so-called PNM areas, impoverished them, marginalized them, suffered their childrens education through disrepair and neglect of schools...non-nationals enjoy the fat of the land at our expense...and then they speak of aerial mapping to stop it...why now? Is it that the UNC have gathered enough new votes to keep them in power...or is it that the same marginalized citizens must never be allowed to even own a shanty in the bush some where when they arent able to do better because of discrimination? Why the arse didnt they stop the influx 3 years ago? This government can only fool deaf, dumb and blind people...and of course, those who share their divisive and wicked agenda. This is their last year in government!
