Seneca East is hosting its third annual So You Think You Can Sing Vocal Talent Competition on November 8th in Tiger Auditoria at Seneca East High School. If you love to be on stage to share your vocal talent, this is the competition for you. There is a middle school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12) division with prize money and trophies being awarded in both divisions. This year our competition features touring a cappella groups from Tiffin University, so if you love to sing and be on stage, then come join us for a night of great music. Guidelines and entry forms are on Seneca East’s website at seneca-east.k12.oh.us under the “community” heading. Any Sophomore or Junior student that is interested in taking the PSAT (Preliminary SAT) / National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test can sign up to do so in the guidance office. The test will be given on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 starting at 8:00 a.m. in the computer lab. There is a $14 fee for student’s to take this test. The fee must be paid prior to the day of testing and is non refundable. Sept. 26 thru Nov. 1 - Everyone who comes to Lake Eerie Fear Fest at Ghostly Manor in Sandusky with a coupon, gets $5.00 OFF admission and $5 towards their school/school organization.
