10:10 AM 8/27 | Good Wednesday morning! Today will be a fairly warm day with high temperatures in the upper 80s under mostly sunny skies. Winds will generally be light throughout the day. Talk about quite the contrast to what we saw three years ago on this date, when Hurricane Irene battered the region. Warm conditions will be with us again on Thursday, with slightly cooler temperatures to close out the week. An isolated thunderstorm could pop up on Saturday, but a slightly better chance for scattered showers and storms will come Sunday into Labor Day. (Lead Forecaster Jason)
