10:15 AM 10/22 | Good morning, everyone! TODAY: Chilly and periodic rainy conditions will persist through the daytime hours today as a coastal storm intensifies off the coast. Temperatures are currently in the mid 50s and will only climb a few more degrees to 57-60°. It will become windy with north winds at 15-20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. Showers will taper off this evening. Lows will be in the upper 40s. THURSDAY: A tight pressure gradient between the exiting storm system and building high pressure will make for a notably windy day on Thursday. Northwest winds will be sustained at 20-25 mph with gusts reaching 35-40 mph. High temperatures will be in the lower 60s with sunshine, but it will feel about 10° colder due to the wind. LOOKING AHEAD: Winds will be lighter on Friday, but otherwise expect similar conditions. Dry and seasonable weather looks to continue heading into early next week. (Lead Forecaster Jason)
