10/21/13 Will You Stop Hating Long Enough To Congratulate? One of my favorite shows is the Apprentice. Celebrities competing to win money for their respective charities can provide some good laughs and insights. Each week the competitors complete tasks on various projects to impress corporate executives. Every week there seems to be one player that consistently stands out. Instead of giving credit where credit is due, a few competitors degrade and demean the other persons character. Do you hate rather than congratulate? Are you envious of who someone is or what they have? Envy is a very dangerous emotion. We shouldnt envy or lust for anything. Be happy and excited for those who are blessed. If we are close enough to witness blessings unfold, we should be confident that our blessing is right around the corner. So, the next time your friend gets a new car, Praise God. When your co-worker gets a job you once desired, Praise God. Thanking God for blessing someone else prepares us for the blessings He has just for us!
