10/23/14 The Victorious Life Word For Today Have You Answered The Knock? Subtitle: Are You Really Saved? Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup, with him, and he with Me. Revelation 3:20 Family and friends, if you have ever heard me before, of all the messages I have posted in the past, please hear me and pay close attention to this post. For it is really a matter of life and death! Be patient, for it is a little lengthy, but I feel it is important and needed, and I believe it will bless and strengthen your walk with the Lord. I have subtitled this message, Are You Really Saved? Because I want to make sure, and for you to be crystal clear, that you understand and know, what it really means to be saved, a born again child of God, a believer, and what it really means to know and have Jesus Christ in your life! Instead of just saying so, just because you have been pressured to give an answer. For I have asked many a persons if they are saved, or born again, and or do they know Jesus? And from some of the responses I get, and or have gotten, it leaves me concerned and praying, for some of my family members and friends, because I am discovering that they really do not know what it means, to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! So, let me make it clear so that you can make the necessary corrections in your thinking and belief system, and get the clear understanding of what it really means to be saved! If you tell me or anyone else that ask you the question, Are You Saved? Or are you born again, or if you know Jesus? If your response is, oh yeah, I go to church, or I talk to God everyday, or, oh yeah, my parents are saved, and they told me all about Him, or any other indirect answer to this question, I am sorry to inform you, as I am lead of the Lord, YOU ARE NOT SAVED! And if this makes you mad, good! I am not trying to win your approval or to get you to like me, I am trying to get you saved, for real; to where you know it and truly understand what it really means to be saved! Now that I have your attention, hear me out please! You can tell who is really saved, and who is really not saved, just by how they answer the question, Are You Saved? Those who are saved, will boldly and confidently tell you they are, and can back it up with scripture that confirms that they are, or give you a testimony about how they came to know and accepted the Lord in their lives. With the exception of maybe the new born babes in Christ. However, you can tell who is not saved also, by their response to that question! For they get real nervous and give every kind of answer and reason why they believe and feel they are saved, which is pretty much like the responses I stated at the beginning of this message, which are the wrong reasons. Now listen, I can already hear some of you saying, maybe it is just not their personality to be able to express themselves, as others do about that question! I am sorry, but that is not going to cut it, and it is not going to fly with God! It amazes me that though these people may not be able to express themselves like others who are really saved, but they have no problem expressing themselves about anything else they are involved with or know about, without any problem at all! No! I say they cant express themselves because they are not sure about what it means to be saved. This is how you can know you are saved, and can tell if anybody else is saved when you ask them about it. They will be able to tell you what Romans 10:9-10 says. Maybe not word for word, but they can explain it in such away, that will let you know and give you a good indication, that they really do understand what it means to be saved! It says, If you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. Family and friends, if you really know and believe this scripture from Gods Holy Word, the Bible, you then, ARE TRULY SAVED!!! By this and this only is why you know that you are truly saved, as well as sensing a change in yourself. And if you can reference this verse of scripture, and I dont mean necessarily being able to quote it persay, however in my opinion you should be able too, this will let everyone know, including yourself, God and the devil, that you surely, and truly, with confidence, are saved! Notice I did not mention anything about how good of a person you are, or how nice of a person you are, or whether or not you have sin in your life? Because it is not about that! It is about and only about if you confess and have believed what Romans 10:9-10 says about being saved! Yes, you do need to confess your sins, and if you do and believe what this verse says, you confessing your sins will take care of itself. Family and friends, I pray that you now have a true and clear understanding of what it means to be truly saved, and know it surely and confidently, for this is the only way and reason we are saved! And now it is our responsibility to live our lives accordingly, to His Word, Will, and His Ways, everyday of our lives, to the best of our ability! And now, when someone ask you if you know Jesus, you can now answer, if you really didnt know before, boldly and with confidence, and with assurance, without a shadow of doubt, that you know Him and that you are SAVED, and sure enough going to Heaven. The Lord is knocking on your heart! Have you answered the knock? And if you havent, what are you waiting on? I encourage you if you havent already, to stop ignoring the knock of God on your heart and answer the door of your heart. He is waiting on you! Go ahead, answer it!
