10/28/13 MS/HS ANNOUNCEMENTS: The Fall Sports Banquet for Cross-Country, Golf and Volleyball teams will be Tues., Nov.5, at 6:30 p.m. at Sandusky High School. Tickets are on sale now thru Tues., Oct. 29. Tickets will be sold in the AD Office for $12.00 ea. All checks should be made out to the Margaretta Athletic Booster Club. Student athlete meal tickets are free. Please pick them up. Picture retakes are scheduled for Tuesday, October 29th, in the auditorium. Picture forms are available in the main office. The Encore Shop, Sandusky’s Premiere resale shop, is in need of donations. We are looking for formal, prom-type dresses for a very special spring sale! This is a great way to clean out all those formal dresses that only get worn once and give back at the same time! Encore is the Stein Hospice Resale Shop. All items in the shop are donated and all proceeds benefit the patients of Stein Hospice. Donations may be dropped off during regular store hours: Monday – Friday 11:00 am – 5:00 pm and Saturday 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. at 126 Columbus Ave. in Sandusky. ATTENTION Yearbook Staff: There will be a meeting Tuesday, October 29th after school in Mrs. Weller’s room to assign pages. ATTENTION High School Students: Woodard will be at the high school Wednesday, November 6th to take group photos. The first day of 8th grade girl’s practice will be today, October 28 from 5-7 at Margaretta Elementary School combined with the 7th grade girls. High School swimmers, divers and managers please come to the pool and sign up for the season, after school or at open swim today, October 28th from 6:30-8:30. There will be a high school academic challenge practice Friday after school. Please see Mrs. Roan to confirm your topics on Monday or Tuesday. Our first meeting is this Thursday, October 31st, at 7:15 a.m. in Room 104. Please enter off the senior parking lot through the first single metal door. Anyone is welcome to attend! 7th & 8th grade boys interested in trying out for basketball have open gym this evening from 5:30-7:00 at Margaretta High School. Open gym will also be on Wednesday from 7:00-8:30 at Margaretta Elementary School. All 9th-12th grade boys interested in basketball, not playing varsity football, will have an informational meeting Wednesday at 2:35 p.m. in the library.
