10/29/2013 Weather Bulletin Number Four Tropical Cyclone Warning: Tropical Depression “#VintaPH” Tropical Depression “Vinta” has slowed down as it continues to move westward in the general direction of Isabela-Aurora area. Location of eye/center: At 10:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Depression “VINTA” was estimated based on all available data at 750 km East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes (15.7°N, 131.9°E). Strength: Maximum winds of 55 kph near the center. Movement: Forecast to move West at 19 kph. Forecast Position: Tropical Depression “VINTA” is expected to be at 410 km Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes by tomorrow evening and at 120 km Northeast of Casiguran, Aurora by Thursday evening. By Friday evening, it is expected to be at 170 km West of Sinait, Ilocos Sur. Public Storm Warning Signal # 1 (Winds of 30-60 kph is expected in at least 36 hours): Isabela and Aurora • Estimated rainfall amount is from 5.0 - 15.0 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression. • The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 5 AM tomorrow.
