10:45 am...Bill Oetken has a nice nurse today. She is spending all of her time with Bill and explained what she is doing and why. She is putting a small tube down his nose to try and get medicine directly to his stomach to stop vomiting. Gave him a suppository too. His anxiety level is so high and he is not sleeping and not pooping and had been vomiting all night. Said she gave him enuf versaid (sp) to put down an elephant and it didnt even make him drowsey. (Imagine that!) gave him a dose of adivan (sp) and he finally went out. Sat me down and was very nice. Said I cant be in there 24/7. She will take care of him and I needed to come back upstairs to get some sleep. I said I didnt like his nurse and the care he got last night and she said she is aware of everything that happened and it has already been decided they are going to bring in Martha, his previous nurse, in to take care of him at night. She is nice. She is the one that talked to me at 6 this morning when I had my meltdown on his night nurse. Girls said they were walking past the Dr shortly after I got upset this morning and he was yelling at the nurses that none of them should have just been sitting there having a good time and on their phones. It took me having a genuine meltdown to get something done but it apparently worked. He is out for a little bit so I am going to lay back down. The girls got me a bisquet and is doing the laundry so I have clean clothes before they leave tonight. All 4 kids have been so helpful! I think I have hit bottom and crashed. Throwing in the towel for a few hours...
