10/6/2014 Update on Tammy Tammy went to eye specialist in Atlanta today. His report wasnt great, but we are counting every blessing! The tumor is quite large, and is malignant, but is encapsulated and hasnt spread. She has to get a CT scan to make sure there arent any tumors elsewhere, and then have something made that will be inserted into her eye that contains radiation. This will be done to shrink the tumor. She will wear it for 5 to 7 days I believe she said. Initially it was thought that her retina was detached also. It isnt, but has been moved around due to the pressure of the tumor on it. Hopefully it will go back into place. The doctor said he cant assure that her vision will come back, it is right now at 20/80 in the eye, but we know THE BIG DOCTOR UPSTAIRS and are keeping faith that it will! We are counting our blessings. We KNOW that even this could be worse. We ask for your prayers. Love, Marsha
