Overnight in Istanbul. Meals: (Dinner) 16 MAY (Day 2) ISTANBUL – CANAKKALE Blue Mosque which is of the largest mosque in Istanbul, built to compete with St. Sophia. Dating back from 17th century. Mosque is Famous for its blue tiles and 6 minarets. Hippodrome Square former centre of sportive and political activities of Constantinople. See the famous Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column and Wilhelm II fountain. St. Sophia, which has been a cathedral and a mosque, now is a magnificent museum. Its mosaics, stained glass windows & decorated domes create an atmosphere of breath taking beauty. After lunch drive to Canakkale, make a stop in Çanakkale city center to see the Wooden Horse from Holywood Movie ‘Troy’. After they completed Troy Movie in Malta Island that wooden horse was given as a gift by Holywood to Canakkale City to keep in its original place in the history. Dinner and Overnight in Canakkale. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) 17 MAY (Day 3) CANAKKALE – PERGAMUM – KUSADASI After breakfast visit Troy and continue to Kusadasi, You will visit Pergamum. Troy is the famous mythology city in Homer’s epic poem, lliad, one of the oldest settlements in the world. Then proceed to Pergamum to visit Acropolis Ancient City which is located top of the mountain and we have Cable Car experience to visit Acropolis. Acropolis is on the highest part of the city. Some of the sites include acropolis Temple of Athena, Temple Of Trojan, Arsenals, Altar of Zeus, and the Library. Acropolis; In Asia Minor. One of the Seven Churches was planted here (Revolution 1:11, 2:17) It was noted for its wickedness, in so much that our Lord says ‘’Satan’s seat’’ was there. The church of Pergamum was rebuked for swerving from the truth and embracing the doctrines of Balaam and the Nicolaitanes. After lunch in Pergamum we proceed to Kusadasi. House of Virgin Mary a marvelous atmosphere hidden in the green. It is the place where Mary may have spent her last days… Dinner and Overnight at the hotel in Kusadasi. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) 18 MAY (Day 4) KUSADASI – PAMUKKALE After breakfast Full day Kusadasi tour. Ephesus we will begin as well as viewing one of the Seven Churches of Revelation, you will see impressive structures such as great theatre where St. Paul and St. John met. Arcadian Street,Trajan fountain, Celsius Library, Hadrian Temple etc… St. John’s Church: After Jesus Christ was taken up to heaven in Jerusalem Virgin Mary and St. John went to Ephesus and St. John built his church in Ephesus. After he passed away early Christians built his grave in his church. After lunch at a local restaurant, proceed to Pamukkale. Visit Hieropolis and the cotton castle upon arrival. Cotton Castle is a magical and unique terraces and castles created by deposits of white limestone from thermal springs. This spectacular natural wonder is also in world heritage protection list of UNESCO. Hierapolis The city was founded in 190 B.C. by Eumenes II, king of Pergamum. In the 2nd and 3rd centuries, it reached the height of its development as a Roman thermal bath center. Don’t forget to bring your swimwear to enjoy the thermal swimming pools of Pamukkale year-round! Dinner and overnight at the Hotel in Pamukkale. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) 19 MAY (Day 5) PAMUKKALE – KONYA – CAPPADOCIA After lunch we drive to Konya City by following Silk Road which starts from China and pass through on the way for Constantinople. Visit Konya city. Konya: Seventh largest city of Turkey. Konya is an important place for Christians as well because St. Paul and St. Barnabas came to the city on one of their journeys in Asia Minor. St. Paul preached in Konya but they angered both Jews and Gentiles so they had to leave the city and went to Lystra. It is the city in central Anatolia which has protected its name for centuries. Legend says that Perseus kills a dragon that had been ravaging the town. The people set up a special monument to honor him, a stone obelisk with an icon of Perseua carved in it. This event gave the name of the city as Ikonyon or Ikonyum. Visit Mevlana’s Museum for whirling Dervishes. Continue from Konya and make a photostop at Sultanhani, one of the best-preserved Caravanserais (inns) in Anatolia. Overnight and Dinner Cappadocia. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) 20 MAY (Day 6) CAPPADOCIA This morning we enjoy with hot air balloon tour as our optional choice. After breakfast at the hotel we have full day Cappadocia tour. Kaymaklı Underground City, one of the largest underground cities in Cappadocia, troglodyte cave-cities were excavated as early as Hittite times, and expanded over the centuries as various marauding armies traversed Central Anatolia in search of captives and plunder.you will get a chance to see bedrooms, kitchens, dining halls, wine cellars, chapels, stables and more. Lunch will be in Cappadocia. After lunch we visit Goreme Open Air Museum which is famous with cave churches and with their frescos. Goreme Open Air Museum: It is registered to the World Heritage List by UNESCO. Explore the rock-carved churches with some of it decorated with scratched frescos. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Uchisar an old village of small dwellings carved into massive rocks. Gather some picture perfect memories at Valley of Birds and Uchisar. On route, make a stop at the Carpet Factory. After dinner at the hotel we will enjoy with Belly Dance and Turkish Folk Dance Show with unlimited drinks. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) 21 MAY (Day 7) CAPPADOCIA – ANKARA - BOLU This morning, continue our journey to Ankara, the capital of Turkey. On route we stop at the Salt Lake which is the second largest salt lake in the world. Lunch will be on the way for Ankara. Visit the Magnificent Ataturk Mouseleum where the final resting place for Mustafa Kemal Ataturk (which also known as “Father of Modern Turkey”). Then, continue our journey to Bolu. Overnight Bolu. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) 22 MAY (Day 8) BOLU – ISTANBUL Morning proceed to Istanbul. En-route enjoy a leisure drive along the shores of Marmara Sea and back to Istanbul. Lunch will be in Istanbul. After lunch we visit Topkapi Palace. Topkapı Palace: The seat of the Ottoman Empire after it shifted its capital from Bursa to Istanbul. It is today a museum palace with a wide Treasuries, Royal Antiques, Court yards, Holy Relics etc.. In this palace you can see Moes’s stick, St. John’s arm and a part of his scull covered by gold. Then, proceed to collection of porcelain, antiques, and other treasures. Make a stop at the covered Grand Bazaar. Dinner will be in a local restaurant. Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) 23 MAY (Day 9) ISTANBUL After breakfast at hotel we go to harbor to take a private boat. Bosphorus Cruise; we will see the beauty of Bosphorus Channel which spreads over Asia and Europe Continents. This is the great experience to be between Asia and Europe Continents on the boat. We see and take pictures of Ottoman Palaces, Rumeli Castle, Anatolian Castle and the life style of people on the coast line of Bosphorus. We visit the Center of Marbling Art (Ebru) Marbling is the art of creating colorful patterns by sprinkling and brushing color pigments on a pan of oily water and then transforming this pattern to paper. The special tools of the trade are brushes of horsehair bound to straight rose twigs, a deep tray made of unknotted pinewood, natural earth pigments, cattle gall and tragacanth. It is believed to be invented in the thirteenth century Turkistan. This decorative art then spread to China, India and Persia and Anatolia. Seljuk and Ottoman calligraphers and artists used marbling to decorate books, imperial decrees, official correspondence and documents. New forms and techniques were perfected in the process and Turkey remained the center of marbling for many centuries. We visit Spice Market for last shopping in Istanbul. 24 MAY (Day10) ISTANBUL - DEPARTURE This morning we visit one of the famous place in Istanbul Ortakoy Town, It is a unique place in Istanbul located under the suspencion bridge and famous with shopping area. After Ortakoy Town. After lunch we visit the biggest and most famous shopping mall Istinye Park then we transfer to airport to take flight back home.
