10 Things You May or May Not Know About Me 10 – I have an Obsessive Compulsive tic that requires I do some things in 3’s. Such as trying to turn the door knob three times to make sure it’s locked. Touching my wallet three times to make sure it’s in my pocket and even cracking my knuckles three different ways. 9 – This may be a tic but I feel like it is more of a ritual that started last year during the Baltimore Raven’s run in the playoffs against the Colts. Every game during the playoffs I needed Brandy to make 1 Pepperoni & Sausage Red Baron pizza with the Boneless Wings that came with it, 4 potato skins purchased from the Kroger Deli, 1 box of Mac and Cheese Bites from the Freezer Section and Coors Light in a Giant Mug. I would have to wear my Nightmare Before Christmas Pajama Pants, my Ray Lewis Raven’s Jersey and my slippers. Brandy would be required to take off her Ray Rice jersey right before the half ended if the Ravens were struggling. Now I am not saying this was the reason they won the Super Bowl last year…. but it was. 8 - My favorite television shows of all time are “Friends”, “Quantum Leap”, “Kindred the Embraced” and “Twilight Zone”. The reason is because I associate “Friends” with my friends, “Quantum Leap” because time travel is something that has always intrigued me,” Kindred the Embraced” because when I was younger I use to play “Vampire the Masquerade “ and “Twilight Zone” simply because the storytelling is second to none. 7 – When eating ice cream out of a carton, I need for it to be flat. I can’t take large gouges out with the spoon; I need to make sure the surface stays relatively flat so I scrape from the top as I go. 6 – Even though I am posting this on Facebook, I am not a fan of Facebook. I know I posted quite a bit some time ago (some would say too much on here) but it’s lost a lot of the “funability” and now I mainly stick with Twitter. 5 – I still remember in vivid detail the day Kurt Loder came on MTV news and announced that Kurt Cobain had been found dead. It was Friday, April 8, 1994 and I was home from school (I believe I skipped) and the sun was coming through the blinds of our sliding door. Smoke filled the apartment from the pack of Winston cigarettes I stole from my step dad. My dog Louie was lying on the couch, a can of Mellow Yellow on the coffee table and Kurt Loder came on the TV and dropped me. 4 – I don’t normally cry during movies, but I have cried during “Backdraft”, “Toy Story 3” and “Click”. 3 – I was 33 years old when I finally had to really deal with death that truly hit close to home. I’ve known people who have died but never truly affected me until my grandmother passed, followed by dog seven months later. 2 – I randomly go through Wikipedia articles just to learn new things almost daily. I love learning new things, even the most trivial which is why I will destroy you in Trivial Pursuit. For example, did you know Jacinth Ambrosia Airport serves Jacinth Ambrosia Mine near Ceduna, South Australia? 1 – For the first time in as long as I can recall, I am finally in a good place as far as my personal life is concerned. In a fun, caring relationship with a girl I’ve known since I was 14 and on top of that we get to spend our time together with her amazing 6 year old girl who is the center of our universe. There, I played this game.
