You may have taken some photos that you would rather no one else sees and if this is so you can hide them. When you are in the Photo app just tap down on the picture that you don’t want people to see and choose to hide it. Any photos that are hidden will remain so for 30 days and they will then be deleted automatically. 2)Take a selfie with the camera selfie .In iOS 8 the camera app offers a timer which you can set to 3 or 10 seconds to ensure that you get the perfect photo every time. All you have to do is open up the camera app, press timer, and you can then choose the interval before the photo is taken. The timer may also be used with Burst mode and this means that the camera app will take 10 photos very quickly, allowing you to choose the perfect shot. 3)Android users have had predictive text on their handsets for quite some time, but this is something new to owners of iOS devices. Apple offer QuickType, which improves over time so that it will eventually be able to predict what you are typing. If this is something that you don’t want you can turn it off. All you need to do is head into Settings – General – Keyboard and then turn predictive text off using the slider. Notification Widgets 4) Apple is being more lenient now and they have allowed some apps to have widgets in the notification region. This means that with iOS 8 it’s even easier to get access to uploads in Dropbox, gain access to your reading list in Kindle and more. To enable this you can just swipe the notification region down, tap where it says today, then scroll down and finally tap on edit. This will allow you to change apps by adding or taking them away. You do have to bear in mind that not all apps that are 3rd party are supported. 5) Use your iPhone as your medical ID. iOS 8 comes with a Health app and this has a Medical ID feature. With this you can fill in all your personal health information. This allows EMS workers access to your medical history in the event that you were involved in an accident.
