10 am and the house is quit as a mouse not a sound to be heard other than the small grand father clock ticking off the seconds. I remember all the past activity that used to be present in our little house, all the things that seemed so important, that needed to be done, the running here only to have to go there. Patty is just in the other room, she lays sleeping, fatigue has caught up with her again, but when she sleeps she doesnt hurt or worry, or push herself and try to get more stuff done! Sometimes I slip in the room, to hear her breath I watch the covers rise and fall, soaking in each one, knowing that soon she will walk through the bedroom door, usually with a smile on her face!
