10 lives rescued from the chopping board! 29 March 2014, Watchdog Thailand, (funded by Soi Dog Foundation) and the Royal Thai Police special unit of suppression region 4 identified a suspected butcher/meat seller in Ban Huaychearm Bungkla, Bueng Kan, Thailand. This occurred after receiving intelligence that the man had been operating for a few years, supplying dog meat locally and for export to Laos. Watchdog Thailand managed to seize all 10 dogs and deliver to Nakorn Panom shelter for Shelter/Treatment. Watchdog Thailand arranged the entrapment (fake buy) after thorough investigation and determining that there were dogs locked up in the house. As you can see in the pictures dogs were also in the backyard but all lives would have been destroyed without compassion or mercy. This is the first raid of a distributor/retailer in the Beung Kan area.
