10 piece band based in Cincinnati is looking for a keys/synth player. We are looking to play groove-based music from the 70s-present. Styles and artists include the typical Motown artists, 80s R&B, blue-eyed soul, disco, funk, rock, and newer groups/performers as well. All the pieces are in place. We have horns, bass, guitar, drums, and both male and female vocals. We have a very large practice space near Kenwood in the Pleasant Ridge part of Cincinnati (no creepy warehouses) with a PA system. The songs weve been adding now have mostly been those which most of the musicians already know and were quick to work up. The set list were asking people to learn for an initial jam/rehearsal is below. Well add more once everyone has the initial set down. These songs may or may not be keepers as they were selected to represent a range of styles so everyone can get a feel for how each other plays. Well add keeper songs based on what the group wants to do and our abilities When responding please include 8-10 songs from our list that you plan on auditioning with, what type of gear you use, age, if you have backing vocal ability, your availability on Sunday evenings, Thursday evenings, and Friday, December 12th.
