$10 says the DC shooter guy got in with a fake military ID. He was an IT contractor after all. Take everything you hear about the vetting process with a grain of salt. Its an opportunity for the government to restrict clearances further now. I am willing to believe it is an issue with vetting with proper evidence (ie actual confirmation that he has clearance. Nobody in an official capacity has said those words yet.)
