GRACE BIBLE MISSION DAILY BIBLE READING Topic: OBEDIENCE TO GOD Text: ACTS 5:27-39 “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, we ought to obey God rather than men” V29. When you are doing exactly what you are told to do it is then you can be called an obedient servant. What is the level of your obedience? Remember that half obedience is total disobedience - 1Sam. 15:22, Lk. 8:21. Let me ask you a question, “Whom are you obeying - God or Satan?” The irony of life I that you either obey God or Satan you cannot sit on the fence. I want to strongly encourage you to be an obedient servant to God. The apostles obey the instructions given to them by their master and they didn’t regret it. Definitely, if you obey God’s instructions you too will not regret doing so, even when it seems very difficult just obey. Remember Father Abraham. Emphasis: Whatever God instruct you to do anytime do it promptly don’t procrastinate.. Prayer: Father Lord, help me to always obey your instructions as you will be directing me from time to time in Jesus name.
