10 things you do NOT have to do to be healthy or have the body that you want: 1. Eat breakfast upon waking - eat when youre hungry and when it suits YOU. 2. Eat a prescribed number of meals - there is no reason to be eating 6 or more meals a day, unless you actually enjoy grazing. 3. Eat protein (or any food) directly before and/or after your workout - again, eat when you are hungry and when it suits you. 4. Eat a ridiculous amount of protein - protein should NOT make up the majority of your energy intake. 5. Eliminate carbohydrates and/or fats - both are essential nutrients that your body needs and wants. Eliminating either will have you performing and feeling below optimum. 6. Exercise on an empty stomach - unless you can perform at your best in a fasted state. You are likely get more out of your workout with some fuel to burn. 7. Avoid social situations with food or eating at a cafe/restaurant - one meal wont hurt you. If youre that worried about it, overestimate the calories youve eaten and make up for it by reducing what you eat later. 8. Use ANY supplements - unless youve been instructed to by a dietician or nutritionist because of a nutrient deficiency that cannot be corrected with food that you enjoy eating. 9. Exercises every day or for countless hours each week - instead, make the most of your time to exercise. Twice a week is better than none. 10 minutes a day is better than none. 10.
