10 years ago on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon I experienced golf Mecca with one of my best friends Jeff McGowan. I was afforded the opportunity to go to a Tuesday practice round at the Masters. I was awe struck at how green everything was and how plush the grounds were kept, the rough was like carpet. We followed around Arnold Palmer (it was his 50th and last Masters he would play in) and Tiger Woods (when he was in good form). We saw Gary Player chip on a practice area and even got a picture of Phil Mickelson putting (the winner of the 2004 Masters). Amen corner was amazing. The tv does not do it justice. We sat in the stands on 16 for a bit and watch most of the golfers try and skip it across the pond. Some were better than others. We also sat at 10 and got to meet and take a picture with Scotty Bowman (professional Hockey Coach). I would personally like to thank my cousin Karen Carboneau for offering her tickets to me. What a truly amazing experience, one that I will never forget. Thank you. ITS MASTERS WEEK!
