10 years ago this was one of my first projects. The bottom of this chessboard was carved out of birds-eye maple, accented with coco-bola, mahogany, ebony & zebra-wood. My best friend has no idea how much his wedding gift really cost in wood and labor, but you just dont measure those things every time. The second picture is one of our favorite tables we have completed. We get the Urban reclaimed tree from the Portland, OR area, mill them on our property, air dry for 18 months, then dry in our kilns.
