100. I woke up in a hospital bed and lunga was beside me. When i woke up he kissed my forehead. Lunga: i have to call the doctor or the nurse to check up on you. Me: okay. I was whispering. I was thirsty. Lunga left the room and a second later he came back in with a doctor. The doctor made me sit up then he did check ups. He wrote some stuff down then he looked at me. His smile faded. I sat next to me. Doctor: i am doctor smith. Me: im thirsty. I was still whispering. Lunga poured water for me then helped drink it. I could see the doctor wanted to say something. I held my tummy and looked at him. Me: my baby? Dr. S: im sorry. The baby did not make it. Ties streamed down my cheeks. The doctor stood up and patted my hand. Dr. S: im really sorry miss nkosi. I will call a nurse to help you with anything you need. Lunga: thank you doctor. The doctot left. Clintons fiance appeared at the door. I stared at her with a blank expression. Lunga: please leave at one peace because my sister is not well for more drama. Lisanda( clintons fiance): i am sorry. I am sorry for what happend. I just lost my cool and im really sorry for you losing your baby. I was hoping we could make peace without involving police and anything like that. I laughed in disbelief but my voice was low so my laugh was very low. So she came to make sure i dont go to the police. Then masixole appeared at the door. Remember the policeman that helped me when siyavuya( sangas twin) was kidnapped. We all remember that siyavuya ended up being killed. Masixole: sisi ufuna ntoni apha? Came to finish her off? They didnt hear me but lunga did. Lunga: we heard you apology now please leave. She left without saying another word. Masixole came to stand next to me. Masixole: im sorry about your baby. I nodded. Masixole: you can open a case against her. Me: no need. Masixole sat down and we chatted for hours till the doctor asked them to leave me to rest and they could come back later. Lunga kissed my forehead. Lunga: i love you lil sis. Me: i love you too big brother. They left and i fell asleep. Later on i heard someone walk into my room. I thought it was lunga or the doctor. I was too lazy to open my eyes. The person held my hand. The person kissed my hand. The person: i was stupid. You really love me and i was too stupid to see that. It was clinton. Clinton: now you lost your- i mean our child. I am really sorry yandisa i wish i could rewind and fix everything. I could hear he was crying but i still pretended to be asleep. He put his head on my tummy and cried. Me: clinton you are hurting me and im trying to sleep here. My eyes were still shut. Clinton: hey yandi. Me: bye clinton. Clinton: please forgive me. Me: i forgive you. Now go back to your fiance. Clinton: i left her. Me: okay now leave me. My voice was back. I kept my eyes shut coz i didnt want to see him cry. Clinton: dont make this hard please. I also just lost a baby. Me: lisanda got a miscarriage? Clinton: no you did. Me: you did not even believe me when i said i was pregnant. Clinton: i know and im sorry. Me: okay. Can you leave now? Clinton: i love you yandisa.
