#100 *girl* When I see that little girl smiling, I wonder Such a carefree childhood such a carefree life But then I realize, she will grow up someday Becoming someones sister, mother, and wife. . . . When I see that little girls innocence, I wonder She is unaware of what lifes got in store for her Happiness would soon be fading into struggle With the wolves around, there would be trouble. . . . When I see that little girl play cheerfully, I wonder She is soon gonna be a part of a cruel world Where every step she takes would be questioned Where with her wings cut, in a house she would be imprisoned. . . . When I see that little girl beaming, I wonder Someday she would cry with her heart all broken She would be mistreated, misjudged and humiliated And all I can do is sit here, curse this world feeling frustrated. . . . When I see that little girl looking at me, I wonder Someday I will have a girl who would look at me like that And I realize, for her to survive here, I will have to make her strong And teach my boy the difference between right and wrong. #strange_girl
