100 years today, Germany invaded neutral Belgium which was the officially started of World War 1, even though Germany declared war on Luxumborg and France on Aug 2nd and 3rd! with Belgium being invaded it brought Britain into the war, and the sinking of the Lusitania which brought America into the war eventually. this war took a grand total of 37,466,904 casualties and led to a greater path of death on a scale the world never thought was possible. It led to a break through in aviation, medicine, communications and global politics that are still being seen today. Things like X Ray machines, Drones, Air Traffic Control, Daylight Savings, and Maxi Pads for the ladies! Its always good to remember where we are and where we came from, not just where we are headed.
