1000p 10/26 | Good evening Southwestern VA! TODAY: We had a beautiful day across our region, with a small warm up considering the past few days. High temperatures ranged in the low to mid 50s under clear skies with winds out of the west around 5-10mph (with gusts nearing 20mph). TONIGHT: A weak disturbance pushed through our region earlier this evening, primarily leaving us with increased cloud cover. Due to this cloud cover, temperatures will not be as cold this evening compared to last night. Expect lows to hover in the mid 30s with a western wind between 5-10mph. SUNDAY: Tomorrow looks to be another great day to get outdoors, as long as you bring along a light jacket! Plan on high temperatures in the mid 50s under mostly sunny skies. Also look forward to a 5-10mph wind out of the west tomorrow morning. LOOKING AHEAD: Partly cloudy conditions and lows in the mid 30s are the story for Sunday evening. Monday looks to start off our work week by continuing the stretch of some gorgeous, fall weather across our region. Our Monday forecast includes highs approaching 60 degrees with mostly sunny skies.
