#1004 "Please post this. just passing some msg..!! There has been a lot of things spoken about rape..!! well physical rape is a very very bad thing. may it be the delhi case or may it be the manipal case. such evil should not be tolerated. its a shame on our part. But am giving this subject a different perspective. Do you guys know how this ""RAPE"" affects men..? its brutal but true..!! i was travelling in train from Delhi to Chennai and i happen to meet the police man. we were discussing many things related to crime and criminals and how exactly police deal with them. and we discussed about RAPE as well as at that time DELHI GANG RAPE was a hot topic of discussion. the police man agrred that the incident was brutal. but he also gave a different angle to this crime of rape.in otherwise cases when a girl gets caught making out with a guy, when some1 by some family member catches them both. she uses ""RAPE"" as her defense mechanism. That police also said just to protect the name of her family and her image she lets the guy to take all the blame. he said more than 90% of the rape cases in north he has seen are the cases where the guy is innocent. and the police actually can see that the guy is INNOCENT, but still police have to register the complain because they have to wrok by the ""LAW"" i wasn`t ready believe and i did oppose what he said. it cannot be 90% of the times that women are wrong, by looking at the current scenario. He justified that as well, whenever there is actual incident where guy forces the gal, such incidents never come to police because gal doesn`t really want to expose herself to the society. hardly 10-15% of them dare to step ahead to take support from the law. so all that police is left with is those innocent victims of love and victims of the girl who wants to protect her family and her image. they come to police because she was caught by someone in the family. and she has to defend herself and sometimes even family goes along with the girl to defend themselves even tho they are wrong. ultimately the guy ends up in jail and screws his life. sad but true..:( :("
