102. The Ark Genesis 6 verses 9 –18. V 17: “And behold, I Myself am bringing flood waters upon the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life, everything that is on the earth shall die.” V 18 “But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark¬- you, your sons, your wife, and your sons wives with you.” God gives life—God takes life. Why did God destroy everything that had life when He Himself had given them life? Because they had abused the gift of life to such an extent, that God repented that He had made man on the earth. For the few who still feared Him, He provided the plan of salvation. 1.Use Gopher wood—plan of salvation----Mathew 1 v 18—21 2.Make rooms—place prepared for those who obeyed the Lord—John 14 v 1—2 3.The obedient children of God are also sealed within and without. Outer sealing 1 Peter 3 v 18—22. Inner sealing Ephesians 1 V 11—14 4.It is fashioned length, breadth, height. The cross lifted up. John 3 v 14—15 5.Window, we look up and reach out for the completed work of God. 6.The door was shut to the past and opened to the future by God. 7.The completed Ark. Lower, second and third decks. The completed ark held all to be saved. We too in obedience are complete in JESUS CHRIST our wonderful, glorious, perfect ARK of salvation, for in HIM dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2 v 6—10. 8.The Covenant—Genesis 9 v 8—17. Today beloved we look to that old rugged cross empty, stained with the precious blood of Him who suffered and died that we might live. He who is alive having conquered death and is preparing a place for us to be with Him. Praise the Lord God Almighty. John 14 v 1—3.
