10208 林紋君 Hello everyone today, I will talk about –Tailand tradition New Year, Songkarn Festival . Songkarn Festival is from 4/13 to 4/15 in anywhere every year. The symbol is that get out some bad and welcome some new. At Songkarn Festival , people almost are were new clothes moreover bring some foods to supply monk. Housewives are clean house nearby environment and take old clothes or old things to burn because according to traditions,if people don’t throw away old things ,will bring bad luckiness . In the meanwhile, young people need pour scent water to elder’s hands to represent theirs respection . In fact, Songkarn Festival is not only at Tailand but also in nearby countries,like Myanmar or Laos Peoples Democratic Republic. Although lots of magazines or TV shows are introduce Songkarn Festival ,but if you have a chance to join it ,it will be a good experience.
