10586 members, we have just under 4 months until the 2015 NSW State Election. With the new seat of Barwon covering around 40% of the State and within this area, a massive resource of water, rivers and lakes. For us, in Broken Hill and Menindee, water, rivers and lakes will be a major emphasis leading up to the Election. I call on all intending Candidates to come forward with their policies on a better management structure for all inland water supply systems, rivers and lakes. We are looking for a person that has the ability to listen, consult and communicate with the people of the new Barwon Electorate. I my view, water will win this Election in Barwon, ignorance wont !!!!!! This Facebook Group, Broken Hill, Menindee Lakes :WE WANT ACTION, is willing and waiting to discuss the issues surrounding, the Darling River, Menindee Lakes, Broken Hill water supply and the retention of water in the inland rivers and lakes for the ongoing economical benefit of all Towns and Cities of this new Electorate. So, if you have an interest to maintain, the environmental, cultural heritage, economic, social, recreational and liveability of the inland rivers and lakes, then we would like to hear from you.
