11/10 12/5 39/20 Arsenal remain the odds-on favourites with bwin to sign Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini but Manchester United are now just 2/1 to capture the Belgian after reports this morning suggested David Moyes wants his former player to form a new-look midfield at Old Trafford. It emerged yesterday that United had lodged a £25 million bid for Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas, but it now appears that Moyes is not about to stop at the former Arsenal captain as he loo0ks to bolster his midfield options ahead of the new campaign. United are in to 27/20 to buy the Spaniard, but it looks as though Moyes is also about to make a mega-money move for his former player Fellaini. The Scot signed the 25 year-old when in charge at Goodison Park for £15 million in 2008, which remains a club record transfer fee, and reports today say the 50-year-old wants to sign the player for a second time. Fellaini has a minimum fee release clause, believed to be around £24 million, written into the contract he signed in 2011 and Everton are therefore powerless to stop him from leaving should a club meet the asking price, leaving new Blues boss Roberto Martinez in a difficult position. And if you think United are going to sign Fellaini, who scored 12 goals as Everton finished sixth last season, you can back that outcome at 2/1. Arsenal remain the favourites, though, to sign Fellaini, with bwin going 83/100 that the Belgian swaps Goodison Park for the Emirates. Fellaini is 6/4 to stay at Everton until January at the earliest, while it is 7/1 and bigger that he signs for any other club before September 4th.
