11/8 SURF/BOAT/JETTY Water temp this sunny going to get a bit cloudy later but no rain cold morning is 54.5. Air temp this morning is a lot colder then the water it is at 30 right now but going up to the high 40s. Another great thing is that the north jetty of Barnegat Inlet on IBSP opened up at 2PM yesterday. I was told there was a crowd there as soon as it opened fishing both off the jetty and in the pocket. So I guess tin city will be there this weekend again. It was a day most were told you should have been here yesterday. Dont get me wrong there were stripers and blues being caught but not in great numbers as days past. The stripers were caught on clams, bunker heads, swimming plugs, poppers, and bucktails. The blues were caught on bunker chunks and metals. So if you are going out today take an extra jacket just in case it. If anything goes down we will update the reports. On to those area reports that now remain just about the same: Brigantine: few stripers LBI: stripers, blues Barnegat Light rocks: stripers, tog IBSP: stripers, blues Seaside: stripers, blues Ortley Beach: stripers, blues Lavallette: stripers, blues Pt. Pleasant Wall: few stripers, tog off the rocks Pt. Pleasant: few stripers, , blues, tog in canal Monmouth Beaches: stripers Jetties: stripers, blues No reports from any boaters yesterday. I just dont know if they didnt get out or what. I was told by some party boats that because of the lack of customer or conditions they didnt sail either. So no reports from boats yesterday.
