11 November 2014 Dear Manjula Dinesh, I am pleased to confirm that your organization has pre-registered you as one of its representatives to attend the fifty-ninth session of the Commission on the Status of Women to be held from 9 to 20 March 2015 at United Nations Headquarters in New York. Kindly be reminded that, before you register onsite for the session, your organization will be expected tosupplement the information already provided online with the address where you will be staying in New York during the session. Once this information has been entered into CSO-Net, your organization can retrieve your grounds pass form. You will need to present a print-out of this form as well as a government-issued official photo ID (passport) to obtain a grounds pass. Please note that participants may need a secondary pass to gain access to the sessions open official meetings. In such case, one or two secondary passes per organization will be distributed at or near theregistration site. On-site registration will likely commence on Friday, 6 March 2015. The location of onsite registration will also be communicated to participants at a later stage. As mentioned in the letter of invitation, all arrangements for travel, visa and accommodation, as well as related expenses, are the responsibility of participants. Please be advised that large bags, suitcases, trolleys and carry-on luggage will not be permitted on United Nations premises. Exhibit materials and objects for sale or for display will not be allowed on United Nations premises either. Kindly note that the NGO Committee on the Status of Women, which is a group of New York-based womens NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC, invites all CSW59 pre-registered NGOs to orientation and training sessions both prior to and during the Commission.
