11 Things you might not know about me.... (Sheila, really?) 1. If I was a boy, my name would have been Bradford Dean but the only person that would remember that is not with us anymore...Robert Burke....and he twisted it all around and called me Buford. 2. I am freaked out by clowns. I dont even go to the circus. I used to make the other djs be the Honorary Ringmaster. I chalk it up to this creepy painting that my mom hung in my room as a child. 3. I met my husband (of 18 years) when I was his boss at the radio station (I love this story). After one week of dating, he asked me to marry him. I said no, but thankfully he asked me again 6 months later. 4. I made my first B in Algebra...and my second B in Algebra II. My only two in HS...just bc I suck at math. 5. Even though I suck at math, I took a Calculus course in college and got a B even though I lost my book two weeks in and was too broke and stubborn to go buy a new one. 6. I am a huge believer in inclusion and dont think that there should be a Special Ed room anywhere in a school. 7. I went to the University of Oklahoma, then Paris Junior College, then finished at East Texas State University (now Texas A&M-Commerce) and I never asked for the updated diploma. MY ETSU diploma hangs on my wall. 8. My goal was to become a journalist, then a writer, and live in New York City...maybe get married when I was 40 and never have any children. (Ha!) 9. I was accepted to the A&M Veterinary School but didnt go bc I didnt think I could handle so much animal sadness when I couldnt save them. 10. Even though I didnt intend on having children, I love both of them to the moon and back. I joke that Im a horrible mom, but I try very hard to be the best mom they could ever have. And Im incredibly proud of both of them. 11. Geez...lots of info! Ok...you all know I LOVE horror movies and books...but it took me a WHOLE afternoon (just ask my mom) to watch Evil Dead in HS. I can watch it now...but for some reason it was just too much. And 12 - dont expect me to give you a number if you like my status...message me and I will but Im telling you Im too busy and Ill forget to give you one!
