11 september 2014 Meeting Vikas Tyagi ji and family (from my village Malpura) during my visit to India.. Most families in our village Malpura have gone out for professional reasons. Like any Tyagi, all those who do not live in villages, like to meet as and where, out-side our villages. Vikas ji has office in Greater Noida and he is Head of HR Department in some local organization and had offered to work in several departments as he feels that he like to get exposed to all departments as a career growth programme. IFTs played an important role and we discovered that Vikas ji happens to be from Malpura too. I was in Meerut (July-August) this summer and was invited very cordially by our honorable IFTian Vikas ji. It was very easy to locate his house as this is located just on Delhi-Meerut highway (Mohan Nagar) and it was on my way to Delhi. In no time, I saw Vikas ji waiting for me, right in front of a big society gate. I extended my Aashirwaad to the couple. I called my respected father who happens to know all our family members and he told me that I am Chacha of VIkas ji. We all are inter-connected as a family. We had settled for some snacks and tea as I never wanted to trouble them with extra preparations but I was amazed to see that from sweets to samosa, tea and so many preparations were there to welcome me and tell me what a Tyagi culture means. Yes, Europe and west have different way which is devoid of genuine respect and apnapan and I was thrilled to feel that at VIkas jis house. His wife whom I had addressed as Bhabhi ji had even more bigger plans and the moment I was finishing tea and snacks, she requested to have a quick lunch. Yes, I had to agree under their divine request and it was even more amazing to see a Kadhi, Karela, Bhindi and so much more in the lunch. The taste was incredibly great and so full of apnapan and divinity that I realized the value to our rich Tyagi culture and family tree connections. Food was cooked in a very versatile manner and every preparation had its own flavor and was ultimate. It looked that we know each other from ages and a united family. There kids were at school but we talked about them. I wish to thanks Vikas ji, respected Bhabhi ji for all the respect and apnapan they extended to me and make extra-ordinary preparation in no time which shows the strength of our family bonds in its best possible way. Recently Vikas ji had also sent some photos of our village and I have attached.
