11 ‘truant’ teachers placed under suspension Baramulla, Nov 16: At least 11 teachers including eight teachers of a Government Middle School were placed under suspension by Chief Education Officer (CEO) Baramulla for being absent from their regular duties. The 11 suspended teachers include eight teachers from Govt Boys Middle School Khanpora and three from Govt Girls Middle School Mirangund, Singhpora Kalan. According to CEO Baramulla, there were regular complaints especially against the Boys Middle school Khanpora that the teachers are not attending their duties thereby jeopardizing the future of the students. We have placed 8 teachers of Govt Boys Middle School Khanpora under suspension including headmaster of the school. They were found absent from their duties and after following due legal procedure including issuance of show-cause notice they were placed under suspension said Syed Rouf Shah, CEO Baramulla.
