11 weeks ago I was lacking faith in society. The past weeks have taught me different. Since day one of this tragedy we have been hugged, supported, fed, and loved. And now with this weeks flurry of activity weve seen the best of it all. You all shared our frustration and our stress and then you shared our posts. And shared, and shared. Friends, family, and tens of thousands of strangers! From our family and Charlottes we want everyone to know how grateful we are for each and everyone of you becoming part of our story. Its not a story we ever wanted to tell but it is here and who knew so many people could come together in one place and rally for the right thing. We extend our thank you too you, all the media people who told it, huge thank you to the law enforcement people who went above and beyond working even when it wasnt their shifts and following every lead, to our family friends and now online friends. As we go forward Ill keep you posted on whats happening with the case, how our families are healing, and how are story continues. I hope each and every one of you has the most amazing weekend with people you love and a reason to smile. The human race can be amazing. xoxo ~Barb
