11th JKB ATM inaugurated in Reasi Excelsior Correspondent REASI, Dec 10: The J&K Bank (JKB) in its endeavour to provide world class banking facilities to customers at their doorsteps today added one more ATM to its network with inauguration of ATM at Nai Bastee, Reasi being the 11th ATM in district Reasi. Deputy Commissioner, Reasi Shabir Ahmad Bhatt inaugurated the ATM Kiosk. Speaking on the occasion, the DDC highlighted the importance of banking services in the area and said financial institutions play a vital role in the modern times for the socio-economic transformation of the people particularly in the rural areas. He advised the bank authorities for providing hassle free loans to the unemployed educated youth under various self-employment schemes in the district, saying that it would help in combating with unemployment problem to a great extent. He also appealed to the unemployed youth to come forward and avail the benefits of centrally sponsored schemes launched for their welfare and amelioration. The ATM was a long felt need and hence, the new facility would help the customers in fulfilling their urgent need for money, said Cluster Head- Cluster-II, Reasi Vibhakar Khajuria (AVP) and further informed the participants about the advantages of such Hi- tech facility for the common people especially during certain urgent situations. He briefed about various facilities provided by the ATM like cash withdrawals, balance inquiry, request of statement of account, change of PIN number etc. Mohinder Paul Gupta, Ravinder Singh Sambyal, Naresh Sharma and Suresh Verma, branch heads of nearby branches were also present on the occasion.
