11th March 2014, Tuesday 3.30pm #MH370 Press Conference Highlights: >The Police investigation covers 4 areas; hijacking, sabotage, psychological problem, personal problems among passengers in the group. >DCA and Malaysia Airports Berhad to focus investigations on mechanical problem / pilot error. >All checks by the Immigration Officer on duty had followed the Standard Operating Procedures. >All passengers who booked a ticket for the flight had boarded the plane except for one passenger who had forgotten the dates and eventually cancelled her ticket. >The authorities are investigating the passenger manifest and are working with counterparts of 14 countries, all of which the passengers come from. Local authorities are going through all video footage with KLIA and checking background profiles of all passengers. >The authorities are also going through all camera footage in KLIA that has been recorded from the 7th March, 2014 until flight MH370 took off. >The Public Security Office in China is exchanging information and intelligence to the local authorities. Profiles and photographs of the Chinese passengers on MH370 have been supplied to the local authorities. >To date, the authorities have identified one of the 2 passengers with a false passport. One of them is identified as an Iranian national with the name Pouria Nour Mohammad Mehrad. Police are checking his background with other police organisations and working closely with Iranian authorities. Police are also in contact with his mother who is waiting for his arrival in Frankfurt and she is aware that he is travelling with a stolen passport. >The suspect however, is not believed to be a member of any terrorist group and was reported that he wants to migrate to Germany. >As for the other passenger with the stolen passport, investigations are still ongoing. >Police will distribute photos of the two passengers travelling to the media soon. >France offers Air France 447 experts to assist in investigations as well. #prayforMH370
