12/04/87 - 27 years ago today, the leader of branch on the Contreras Family Tree was called home, suddenly and unexpectedly. Raul Contreras Sr was my grandfather - Pop. Pop wasnt wealthy in the material sense, but he was a man filled with a wealth of love for his family, especially the kids. He loved his children and his grand children as big as the world! He passed only meeting his first great grand child. Today he has 27 great grandchildren - I hate that they will never know him like we did, never have him bring them that bag of candy or slip them that $20 dollar bill when the parents werent looking, or make those funny faces that would make them laugh for hours. I miss my Pop as much today, 27 years later, as I did the days after his passing. Rest in Peace Pop. Cant wait to see that goofy funny face again. I miss you & I love you
