12/12/2014 - 9:00 PM - UPDATE Meet with the contractor and the guys doing the tile this morning. When I got home tonight all the prep was done - tile tomorrow. Val was in bed when I got there.He had a shower and a shampoo and was looking good. He had already had PT. They had worked on transferring from the wheelchair to the potty chair. He wasnt feeling well. Bless his heart, he was having stomach problems. He had OT this afternoon and had a hard time with the pain in his shoulder, but he and Christy worked through it. He was able to get his arm much higher than he had before. I talked to a lawyer that represents some folks at Heritage after I witnessed a ladys signature on a Power of Attorney document. He said I was on the right track to go ahead and file the paperwork for an Administrative Law Judge Hearing. I need to gather some backup paperwork. I have never received anything in writing but the original letter saying Val could not come to Heritage. This going back and forth between BCBS, Medicare and Kepro (they process Medicare appeals) is driving me crazy. Hope to get this paperwork and get the request filed. I dont have a good feeling about this, but Im going to give it a try. Please pray for us and about this insurance problem. Lord, you are so good and we praise you.
