12/18/14 Tip about stray dogs in Springfield/Nixa, MO area: (nop ic) A lady contacted me that doesnt have Facebook and asked if I could post this for her. She left her number should anyone have any questions they can contact her that way. She wont be able to see any posts made here. There is a group of 5 to 6 dogs living or just camped out on the west side of highway 13, in the area of the landfill and the 13/CC/BB intersection. The largest appears to be a yellow lab/mix. The others are various sizes and mixes. I saw them sleeping at the edge of the woods just north of the landffill near a deer carcass for 2 days. This evening after work I didnt see them. There are a few abandoned trailers and businesses north of there and I may have seen the largest dog in one of the parking lots. I would like to know if anyone has any information about them. If they are dumped, I will help feed them and work to rescue them. I do not live in this particular area, but just go through there to go to work during the week. Thank you.
